Welcome to Waddler's Rest! The chalet is located in the

charming seaside village of Mundesley-on-Sea. The chalet enjoys

picturesque views in its own leafy grounds (The Royal Chalet Park) 

with a stream and millpond.  

The Royal Chalet Park is a small pleasant site situated only

200 yards from Mundesley Blue flag beach and main seafront and

is approximately 5 minutes walk from the village centre.

It is tucked away in its own leafy grounds, conveniently behind

The Royal Hotel which is open to non-residents for food and drink.

The Royal Chalet Park adjoins the Dell Chalet site which has a 

stream running through it, and borders on the millpond with its 

resident ducks and wildlife.

The site has many trees around making it sheltered and

picturesque. It is ideally situated for long walks along the beach or

cliff-tops. There is a bench seat plus table and two chairs situated

outside the chalet for you to enjoy the picturesque views.

Stow Mill with its tower and sails is a leisurely ten minute walk from

the chalet.


The accommodation comprises of: Lounge with a comfortable three

piece leather suite, flat screen 32" panasonic digital TV, DVD player,

DAB/FM radio and coffee tables.

The comfortable living/dining area has a drop-leaf table which seats

up to five people. Kitchen has kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer,

microwave and electric oven with extractor hood.

Bathroom with electric shower over the bath, wash basin, shaving

points, mirror with separate WC . Two bedrooms: first bedroom has a

comfortable double bed, mirror, wardrobe and chest of drawers

with a ladies hairdryer and second bedroom has comfortable

adult sized bunk beds, mirror, wardrobe and two chests of drawers.

All rooms except the WC have Dimplex heating.

Wi-Fi is available and further details can be found in the chalet. A

landline phone can be found in the lounge area for incoming calls.

Electricity is included in the price.

There is a private car park which is one minute away from the chalet.


Mundesley has blue flag safe beaches with rolling surf

(with life  guards in the summer months). There are plenty of

cliff walks with extensive sea views and an invigorating breeze.

Gold park recreation ground, which can be found near the

High streethas a car boot every Tuesday. The towers of fine

medieval churches stand out in the landscape surrounding the

village. There are plenty of 'quiet lanes' which are excellent

for cycling, walking and horse riding. Travel across rich farmland

to the National Trust properties of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall. An

easy ten minute stroll from the chalet is Stow mill which was built

in 1827. The windmill has wonderful views from the top.

All in an area of outstanding natural beauty.


Shopping in Mundesley is a pleasure. There are general stores, a 

butcher, a fresh fish stall, hardware store, florist, pharmacy, Tesco

Express, Chinese takeaway, Fish and Fry, the Ship Inn, the Manor 

hotel, four cafes in the village and a beach cafe which can be found 

on the promenade. The post office can also be found in the village

centre. They are all served by friendly and helpful people and many 

shops are close to a free car park and the Mundesley Visitor and 

Advice centre which is open on a daily basis throughout the season.
